Roll Stack Technology

Increasing cost of energy and resources and less available space have shaped technology developments. 

In view of the strong competition, customers are increasingly asking for more efficient equipment while at the same time placing higher quality requirements on end products.

That is why Battenfeld-cincinnati had developed high-performance roll stack technologies to complement their proven extruder series for the production of mono- and multi-layer sheet. 

The roll stack is followed by haul-off, cutting and stacking devices as well as winders that are designed individually. To meet the high requirements for these sheets, roll stacks have to enable even cooling and low sheet tolerances. This does not only save material, but also ensures quick, uninterrupted processing in thermoformers downstream in process.
